Accessibility

We're committed to making Willow Pastures as welcoming and accessible as possible. While every guest's needs are different, we believe clear, honest information is the best way to help you plan your stay. This page outlines the accessibility of our park, accommodation and facilities, and our team is always happy to discuss any individual requirements before you book.

Accessibility at Willow Pastures

At Willow Pastures Country Park, we believe every guest should feel welcome, comfortable and able to enjoy their stay with confidence.

As a family-run holiday park, we understand that no two guests have the same needs. Whether you have a mobility impairment, sensory requirements, a medical condition, hidden disability or simply have questions before you travel, our friendly team is here to help.

Because every lodge is different, we encourage guests to contact us before booking so we can recommend the accommodation best suited to their individual requirements.

Assistance dogs are warmly welcomed throughout Willow Pastures. Please let us know before you arrive so we can ensure everything is prepared for your stay.

We’re Always Improving

Accessibility isn’t a one-time project. We continually review our facilities, listen to guest feedback and look for practical ways to make Willow Pastures even more welcoming for everyone.

If you have suggestions following your stay, we’d love to hear from you.

Guests with Sensory Requirements

We know that holidays can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Where possible we can help by:

  • Recommending quieter areas of the park
  • Allocating lodges away from busier locations
  • Providing blackout curtains where available
  • Helping guests avoid unnecessary interruptions
  • Answering questions before arrival to reduce uncertainty

Because Willow Pastures is a smaller, peaceful holiday park, many guests appreciate the calm atmosphere and slower pace.

Accessibility Around The Park

Willow Pastures is a peaceful countryside holiday park with wide open spaces and level access throughout much of the site. Parking is available close to each lodge, with wide internal roads and pathways providing easy access around the park. Many of our external areas are step-free, and seating is available throughout the park for anyone wishing to take a rest. Guests can also enjoy direct access to the Trans Pennine Trail, while our peaceful, low-traffic environment offers a calm and relaxing setting. Above all, our friendly team is always on hand to provide assistance whenever it’s needed.

As we’re located in a natural countryside setting, some areas include gravel paths, decking and uneven outdoor surfaces. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please don’t hesitate to get in touch before your stay so we can advise you on the most suitable accommodation and facilities for your individual needs.

Families with Additional Needs

Many families travel with children who have additional needs.

Our team is happy to help wherever possible, including:

  • Flexible communication before arrival
  • Advice on quieter times around the park
  • Information about nearby facilities
  • Recommendations based on your family’s individual requirements

Our aim is simply to make every family feel welcome.
